Should build out a basic test harness that runs operational tests against the various Kerberos libraries:

Things each test harness should test:

  • KerberosClient authenticates to target library KDC using

    • Active Directory
      • password
      • certificate
    • MIT
      • password
      • certificate
    • Heimdal
      • password
      • certificate
    • Java
      • password
      • certificate
    • GO
      • password
      • certificate

  • Target client authenticates to KdcServer

    • Active Directory
      • password
      • certificate
    • MIT
      • password
      • certificate
    • Heimdal
      • password
      • certificate
    • Java
      • password
      • certificate
    • GO
      • password
      • certificate

  • Each iteration above should rotate through all encryption types

  • Each iteration should invoke FAST

  • Each iteration should execute from Windows and Linux machines
