NAudio 2 was working in version Core 5 until this update. It still works under Core 3.1 with its' latest update and in the .Net 4.8.

The error is an access violation in native Win32.

The behavior suggests a regression or the bug that was fixed may still exist in 2 other products.

Do you work on the naudio project? We'd need more information to be able to investigate the issue. Do you have different sources targeting the different TFMs?

This has been reported in NAudio as well. see naudio/NAudio#789. The code works fine in the preview version of .net 6. Still trying to determine exactly what is causing this to direct it correctly.
