The .NET Apache Spark notebook in Azure Synapse Analytics is based on the .NET interactive

Since Azure Synapse Runtime for Apache Spark 3.3.1 is now in Public Preview

It is key that the .NET Interactive team coordinates with the .NET Apache Spark team to support the public preview

  • Apache Spark to version 3.3.1
  • Delta Lake to version 2.1.0
