Presumably, most developers won't have any issues with installing Redis. We also already have it set up in CI.

However, we could consider https://github.com/guilleiguaran/fakeredis as an alternative to reduce the time for any given developer to get the gem up and running. The downside is that using this library may lead to misleading behavior.
