This bug tracks the differences between current master Theia VS Code API and VS Code 1.74.2:

@vince-fugnitto, I have 2 PR (one internally reviewed with trivial comments and one to be published) that should bump api to 1.76 (see #12233). So we should directly get a bump to 1.76 without bumping to 1.74. I will link here the PR as soon as they are published on eclipse-theia repo.

@vince-fugnitto, as the PR about Telemetry won't reach the release because of the CQ, I pushed a PR that bumps the API support to 1.74.2 (see #12468).
