Shared state for checkbox (checkbox duplicated in a form)

Is there a good way to have two checkboxes linked to the same state in a conform form? In this case I have a ui where I have multiple topics in a nested list. Some of the items in these lists refer to the same item, I'd like the checkboxes to stay synchronized.
