Describe the enhancement:
The installation guide over here https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/packetbeat/current/packetbeat-installation-configuration.html should mention the license restrictions of npcap

These are for the free version:

  • maximum of 5 devices (if it is not solely used for Azure ATP or Wireshark)
  • No silent install "/S"

Describe a specific use case for the enhancement or feature:
The current guide makes it very easy to unintentionally infringe the license agreement of npcap.

Alternatively the most user friendly way would be to get packetbeat added to the exclusion list of that beat and ship it with a version that supports silent install...

this is still relevant.
I don't see it being resolved until now.
