As the engine of Kibana has changed, It could be great to integrate an export to PDF and to an Office document (OOo, MS doc, RTF ...)

This is an extremely challenging item, we have the intention of implementing it in the future, but we can't commit to any timeline for it.

Sounds great even if there no time-line yet. I was waiting for your answer before opening a related function which could come after.

Similar but a lot simpler would be to be able to export data in a csv format

@elvarb Thanks for the link, but the idea next is the #1640 embedded in Kibana 4

Exporting to PDF exists in x-pack, https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/5.5/xpack-reporting.html

PDF reporting exists, and unfortunately I can't see us adding support for office documents (though png images is on our roadmap).

Instead I could see us creating a way to make reporting extensible so developers who want to write their own export type would have a supported way to do so.

We also have csv option for discover, so going to close this feature rquest. If anyone disagrees feel free to re-open!
