Why use electron-packager not electron-builder

I think electron-builder is more powerful than electron-packager
such as electron-builder support auto update which doesn't need a release server.

So Why use electron-packager not electron-builder?

for one: electron-packager does not have nearly 300 outstanding issues in the issue tracker
(Considering switching over myself for this reason -- we currently use builder and it has been somewhat painful)

Hey another one, I had builder running fine, it doesn't install to windows though and is not recommended for autoUpdate features, where electron-forge is.

Closing as we close issues that are questions since they don't represent a task needing to be completed. For most questions about Electron there are a lot of options.

Check out the Electron community. There are also a bunch of helpful people in this community forum that should be willing to point you in the right direction.
