Steps to reproduce

  1. Open an encrypted room. Note that encryption seems to be working for text (and other images).
  2. Receive an encrypted image.
  3. Wait for it to decrypt (noting the pulsing thumbnail)
  4. "Error decrypting image"

Outcome

What did you expect?

An image to be decrypted and visible.

What happened instead?

Error decrypting image

Arch Linux / Wayland w/ Sway

Application version

Element version: 1.9.8 Olm version: 3.2.8

Element version: 1.9.9 Olm version: 3.2.8
