Steps to reproduce

  1. Add "disable_3pid_login": true to config.json
  2. Go to element.example.com/#/register

Outcome

What did you expect?

Email field isn't present.

What happened instead?

It's present, even though it used to be hidden with that setting set to true.
It's confusing to my users as the server isn't configured to handle email.
