So I've been experimenting with page color extraction in webkit, and noticed that elementary.io has rather strange theme-color - to the point that sampiing the top of the page seems to work better.
So, on the following screenshots, the 3 color buttons in the toolbar are: theme color, under page background color and sampled top color respectively.
The results:
theme-color here is blue even though the page header is white. And same thing on the support page.
theme-color here is the same blue even though the header is purple. Sampled color is spot on here, but since theme-color is set, that's the one that will be used.
This one doesn't have blue - however, it looks like it probably should be white as well.
It is blue, but a different shade than the header.
And finally, on the blog it matches.
