@chancancode I'm not 100 sure that it should be packageRules 🤔 if you look at the discussion in #1498 and see the compatAdapter that @ef4 suggests to use I think that is more in line with what that comment is suggesting you use.

For the record I think that the packageRules and compatAdapters are a bit under-documented so I think it's a bit hard to know which tool to use and when 🙈
