My name is Emil! I started programming C++ in 2000 at age 15, but around 2014 I discovered Rust and fell in love. Since 2018 I have been writing Rust full time. It was late 2018 that I started work on what would become egui, but it wasn't until 2020 that I really kicked development into a higher gear. egui is my hobby project. During the day I work at the amazing Embark Studios. When I'm not coding I enjoy climbing, nature and music.
