The QC report revealed that a participant was sent the Email (Next step for Connect: Your mouthwash home collection kit) two times on the same day. This email is triggered by when the kit is shipped by the BPTL team. It is suspected that the double message in Prod was caused by the BPTL team double-clicking Save to complete the shipment, shown below
I was able to re-create this issue in Dev, using Connect ID 1979448209. I double-clicked save and the email was indeed sent 2x to the participant.
