"tox:ID" URL scheme always opens add contact screen

I wanted to add a button in my app which opens the aTox conversation screen. Kind of a shortcut to open the app directly to the conversation.

I see there's currently support for the URL scheme: tox:ID and this directly opens up the 'add contact' screen. [link]

That's great if the contact hasn't been added before but if the contact already exists can the app open the conversation screen instead?
