💬 Utterances Not Appearing

Hi All,

I'm currently trying to get utterances working on my Jupyter Book site but so far haven't been succesful.

The steps I've done are as follows:

• Included utterances under comments in the _config.yml
• Activated the utterances github app
• Added an issue with the same filepath/name as the page I wish the utterances comments to appear

I can see that all of the utterances js code is included in the build but nothing appears. The page I should be seeing it on is this one, which links to this issue which I thought utterances would pick up.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated

huh that's strange. one random thought, could you try adding some text after the last code block? maybe that's messing up the formatting or something?

I've tried adding text after the last code block and trying to add utterances to a page that previously finished on pure md but no luck :/

Hi @AyrtonB - I think you missed updating the _config.yml, in this line here: https://github.com/anothermlstudent/amls-book/blob/main/amls/_config.yml#L47

I think when you replace the placeholder with this: anothermlstudent/amls-book

It should work.
