Changes applied to virtual camera source (with plugin enabled) are not displayed in applications that use OBS Virtual Camera as camera device. But with default built-in OBS Virtual Camera (without the plugin) feature it works.

Spoiler: At the end of video (since 03:22) is demonstrating of how to fix it but without using the plugin. Just host OBS Virtual Camera in another OBS instance and just minimize it.
