@dewijones92 Can you please post a link to the specific post from your screenshots instead of a search page?

I see it happening on your screenshots but at this moment I am unable to reproduce the issue either on Chrome or Firefox. Using 1.0.209.

@dewijones92 it usually happens when you change HZ+ settings without reloading pages you were on.

thanks for trying :)

fyi - I am always able to reproduce this issue ( on firefox )

I have even restored settings and reloading the page multiple times

I tried to replicate this on chrome - but hoverzoom in this case does not work at all (there is no popup on hover)

I'm having the same issue on Firefox 118.0 with HoverZoom 1.0.210
image

Oddly, after clicking through the images in the album manually, HoverZoom seems to pick up some of them. For example, after going through 5 images in a 20-image album, it'll pick up 10 images, and will pick up all 20 after going through 18. Here's a post I tested it on

@extesy I will try and fix this now :) - wish me luck 😂

I've confirmed this is still happening in both Chrome and Firefox. I tested with the links posted earlier in this issue

  • Chrome: 120.0.6099.129 and 120.0.6099.199
  • Firefox: 121.0
  • HoverZoom+: 1.0.212

Additional test:

This post contains 3 images. I have to browse the images in the gallery then click elsewhere on the page before additional images are detected by hoverzoom.

I figured out how to reproduce this bug.

  1. Open www.reddit.com in chrome or firefox
  2. Ensure you're logged in
  3. Switch post display to "card" mode
  4. Scroll down several posts so that you are "infinitely" scrolling (no pagination browsing)
  5. Hover over a gallery with more than 2 images in it. It'll show a smaller total image count.
