Hi,

Element has nightly builds. I'd like to use them for testing and reporting purposes. Is it possible if we can publish element-nightly in the flathub-beta branch?

Here are the deb: https://packages.element.io/debian/pool/main/e/element-nightly/

Hi, we can do that, I don't know how well it'll work with updates all the time as well as not running out of sync with master in other perspectives.

Also there is work on the way, that might resolves all of this quite soon element-hq/element-desktop#293

We can try to use f-e-d-c and base it on this:

x-checker-data:
type: debian-repo
package-name: element-desktop
root: https://packages.element.io/debian
dist: sid
component: main

I can try and get it working, if my idea is accepted. As element-hq/element-desktop#293, we don't know how long it'll take, so I believe it'd be a good idea to create a new branch for the time being.

Any update on this? I'm on Fedora and can't install deb packages.

I need catppuccin everywhere :) https://github.com/catppuccin/element

Wow, turns out themes sync from nightly to stable!?

Never knew that existed. Never mind.

I'm trying to apply the exact same theme, but I cant find the config.json file mentioned in the theme's README instructions. I found the Element files in ~/.var/app/im.riot.Riot/config/$NAME/config.json but there is no such file, closest is "electron-config.json".

Could you tell me how you installed this theme ? I can't live without Catppuccin either...

@dieub56 I installed the theme on element nightly (on windows, with the readme instructions) and then I could access it on element stable (flatpak) in the settings menu...
