At the moment we are importing some font from google (I believe it is Lato and Ubuntu) These api's terribly slow and will block the site from rendering on slow connections. Additionally, this api is blocked in China so our Chinese Campers are unable to use the site.

We would like to serve this directly from the repo if anyone is interested in submitting an easy PR?
