Default Text option not functioning

HI there,
First, thanks for this great plugin. It's really helping with the design of my site.
However, I can't get the default text to display at all.
I'm using wordpress

and what's weird is that the fade options are working fine. Here's my code from footer.php

There was a bug in SelectBoxIt with how it handled the defaultText option when there was a selected attribute within one or more of the select box options. This has now been fixed and you can grab the latest v3.5.0 JS file here.
