Puppet 8 and stldlib 9.x Compatibility

Are there any plans to bring this up to date so it's compatible with the newer stdlib 9.x (dropped a bunch of deprecated functions), and Puppet 8's default of excluding legacy facts and enabling strict mode?

I'm happy to comb through and submit an update with what I can, but it looks to be a lot touch points. Before I do, I just wanted to see if that is already in progress or if there were existing plans for it?
