Blendspace2D BLEND_MODE_DISCRETE_CARRY doesn't carry and resets for each animation #86984

Issue description

All the hard work for documenting this issue has already been done in #41028
and but unfortunately seems to have regressed.

Steps to reproduce

Please see the project provided below.

NOTE: you might have connect the nodes from "Start" to "idle" in AnimationTree after you port the project to latest Godot version!

After some further testing, this seems to only occur when the animations are set to Looping, one-shot's carry work.
