Declaring issue bankruptcy

At the moment maintainer time to work on the dep project is limited. We will be closing any issue/PR opened before January 1, 2018.

This is not meant to be a statement about your issue just the reality of not having enough time or funding to address all of the valid problems with the project.

If you are interested in mitigating this situation in a different way than autoclosing old issues, we are looking for a stable source of funding. Sponsorship would help surface your issue to the top of the queue. Please contact me at [email protected].

I think it's healthy for a project to close any issue that is older than 6 months old.

Dep was officially deprecated earlier this year, and the proposal to archive this repository was accepted. As such, I'm closing outstanding issues before archiving the repository. For any further comments, please use the proposal thread on the Go issue tracker. Thanks!
