Is there support planned for HEVC/x265 encoded videos?

With JS, performance issues are very much present. This app is mainly for chromeOS based hardware which usually come with very limited processing power. libde265.js will not provide a viewable experience. So no, unless browsers themselves start supporting it, i don't think there is much that can be done. I don't know much about these things, so I could be wrong.
