Overview

Testing is an important part of the development process that has been ignored in the Expunge Assist process thus far. To create a better protected codebase, we want to retroactively implement tests.

Create tests for the below scenarios. Feel free to include additional tests if you find opportunities for more coverage.

Action Items

  • Radio Buttons set up correctly
    • Radio Buttons render
    • Radio Buttons displays the correct initial value
    • displays label correctly
  • Radio Buttons function
    • Selecting an option
      • Clicking Radio button selects it
    • selecting on load - nothing selected
      • clicking a button selects that button
    • selecting w/ something selected
      • clicking a button unselects the others
  • Passes props correctly
    • passes label
    • passes choice
    • passes id
  • is accessible
    • Using space bar selects radio button
    • is focus-able
    • does not trap focus (pressing tab with more than one focus-able element present will move focus to next available element)
