If you have an idea for a talk just open an issue!

Look at the existing ideas for lightning talks on packages or tools. If we want to give folks a heads-up on what we are currently working on, we usually use show-and-tell.

You do not even have to give it yourself.

We are happy to gather ideas! An idea for a talk saved and not given is better than an idea for a talk not given and forgotten. Eventually someone else might give that talk and you will be happy to see it, or you will find the time to prepare it yourself, because you remembered.

Show your support!

Showing your support on existing ideas is as easy as giving a thumbs-up on the issue. If you really want to encourage someone to consider preparing a talk for that idea, leave a comment as well. Comments are also a great idea to refine ideas and to collaborate!

Agree to prepare a talk.

If you would like to prepare a talk, just assign the issue to yourself. Once you have it prepared, let us know inside the comments, and we will assign it a milestone of the next meetup. We love lightning talks (<20 minutes including questions), but really anything goes!
