Quoting from the website at https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4174/systemd-manager/ :

New versions are available on github at https://github.com/hardpixel/systemd-manager/releases. This extension will not publish new versions here any more.

Why? And if so, could you please delete the links in the README?

I mean feels suspicious, especially with the silence. Time to fork and upload it ourselves?

@Venefilyn do you regularly go around and spread accusations about other peoples work? I think you have the knowledge to check the code and verify that there is nothing suspicious. So why this comment?

As for why I don't publish new versions on gnome extensions any more, you can check hardpixel/unite-shell#353 (comment).

The review process has changed from checking if an extension does anything malicious and it works in general to the reviewers asking for changes that are personal opinions on how an extension should be coded. I don't have the time or the desire to make changes just to satisfy the review process.

Feel free to fork anything you want but avoid accusing others of having harmful intentions.

@jonian The issue has been open for 7 months. And what accusations? That it's weird to not have an update on gnome or any other delivery service? There is no security precautions downloading directly from github.

So no it's totally valid to be concerned when there is no response or indication of reasons why anywhere in the repo.
