Description

According to the API docs there are 6 possible values for the networkEndpointType parameter:

  • GCE_VM_IP_PORT
  • NON_GCP_PRIVATE_IP_PORT
  • INTERNET_FQDN_PORT
  • INTERNET_IP_PORT
  • SERVERLESS
  • PRIVATE_SERVICE_CONNECT

Currently the terraform provider only supports GCE_VM_IP_PORT and an error is raised if a different type is used. It would be extremely helpful for the provider to support all different endpoint types.

New or Affected Resource(s)

  • google_compute_network_endpoint_group

Potential Terraform Configuration

resource "google_compute_network_endpoint_group" "my-public-ip-port-neg" {
  name                  = "my-public-ip-port-neg"
  zone                  = "us-east1-a"
  network_endpoint_type = "INTERNET_IP_PORT"
}
