This is because the code is as follows:

```
When a request throws an error, the response object isn't valid. Therefore, we need to flip that code to check the error first

if resp.StatusCode == http.StatusNotFound {

I believe that 204 resource was an oversight and should have been a 404 - @jen20 should comment here :)
