I think autoplaying sound/video are globally disabled features, too. Tabs only play Audio when clicked.

This is bad, as it perhaps would be nice to allow certain tabs to play sound if needed, even if they are in background.

Note to self: This was suggested by Tommy

So I never observed this problem at all.
