Can you try opening Gupax in a terminal and post the crash message?

./Gupax.app/Contents/MacOS/gupax

I'm getting the same issue, when I run in terminal it just says "[1] 56400 killed sudo ./Gupax.app/Contents/MacOS/gupax" also tried running sudo to see if that would help at all but same result. For reference I'm on an M1 MacBook Air running, running the ARM/Apple Silicon version of the app.

executing this command worked, at least on my fork. No root required.

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine Gupax.app

Edit: this bug better describe the issue
