SAMed's input image resolution is 512*512,but in SAM is 1024*1024 #43

hello,thanks for your great work.

I want to know if the resolution difference will change the perfomance ,because you use the same checkpoints.

My experiments indicated the image resolution could influence the final result. If the resolution is too small (256x256), the final result degrades a lot, therefore we upsample the image from 256 to 512 during inference. But if the image resolution is reasonable (more than 512), we did not observe the salient difference during inference.
