I agree it is a duplicate but I disagree with the ticket it duplicates. This has nothing to do with problems appeared after pairing. I cannot pair it at all in the first place. I'll follow up in the upstream library repo. |
The problem
When adding an Android TV Remote, enter the IP address of the device and get error "failed to connect".
The Xiaomi MI Box S runs an almost stock Android TV interface with Chromecast built-in and Android TV Remote Service pre-installed. I can pair an remote with this device with Google Home app.
While the device is on, I can verify TCP port
