The systems notifies the discovery of a new integration (Android TV Remote). When you press [configure] and then [Submit] it immediately fails with the message "Failed to connect".
The same basically happens with manual configuration. After asking the IP address if fails.
On the same TV Android Debug Bridge is active. Google Cast is also configured on the same TV.
My guess is that since the TV is already paired it fails pairing again.
What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?
core-2023.5.2
What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?
Hey there @tronikos, @Drafteed, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (androidtv_remote) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

@home-assistant rename Awesome new title Renames the issue.
@home-assistant reopen Reopen the issue.
@home-assistant unassign androidtv_remote Removes the current integration label and assignees on the issue, add the integration domain after the command.
Maybe the root cause is the same, but the TV never displays a code for pairing.
I simply got "Failed to connect". by the integration.
I think that a proper solution would be to display a meaningful error code, and moreover the documentation of the integration should list what to do to avoid the vicious circle of the TV being discovered, you click on configure, it fails, then it starts again.
