Dynamic Power Control "crashes" every 5 Minutes

Every 5 Minutes the inverter pushes max power to grid over limit, short correction to -400w and stops then production. Starts then again. 2 minutes needed to come to normal operation.Meantime i have power consumption from grid.

Hoymiles HMS-2000-4T as Inverter, attached with the 4 ports to the battery. Tasmota Hichi as Power Meter, Victron 150/60.
Victron/JK BMS not connected. Nordic Skills box with LAN. In parallel Venus OS to take a look at components.

Dynamic power: min, normal consumption / Inverter: String Power limit, Timeoutes - all variations done with no effect.

Need working configuration from someone with similar parts or other hints.

Could it be that your powermeter values are outdated? What transport do you use to read the Hichi? HTTP+JSON or MQTT? What OpenDTU-OnBattery firmware version are you using exactly?

Hichi used with HTTP+JSON. Time Out 1000/2000 ms as different settings used. Regarding the Tasmota Screen shows no pause. Also opendtu onbattery Live screen not.

Venus OS( VRM ? / openDTU on battery?

MQTT Data is send to Home Assistant. The HA integration shows as a unit Dynamic Power Limiter, The Hoymiles and openDTU. But there i have no automation logik implemented.

Well, that means the problem is that something sends limits to the inverter using MQTT asynchronous to the DPL. Where those come from I don't know. Good that you had a look into the logs! 👍

Solved!

The sender was identified: It was the integration in VENUS OS from https://github.com/Telekatz/venus.dbus-hoymiles.

I have used this to see the Hoymiles Data at VRM. Seems if there is not only reading data from openDTU, but also some signaling to the openDTU.
