Currently the most common Fediverse bridges (Mostr and Momostr) use proxy tags to label the original page, and if you need to find the corresponding Fediverse post on the Nostr side through proxy tags you will need relay software to support indexing and responding to proxy tag filtering requests.

What specifically should the relay do for these tags? According to the nostr spec, only single-character tags are supposed to be indexed.

Is there a better way than indexing to make it searchable by filters?
