The emulator epsxe for Android has an option to add extra touchscreen buttons called sticky buttons, when you press a sticky button the button is pressed automatically until you press it again. This works great for games like Mega Man to charge the shot automatically or for racing games when you want to accelerate automatically and use only the accelerometer to move. Example:

Would it be possible to add this feature to ppsspp? That would be awesome.

Not sure why you tagged me here tbh, is there anything to be improved on master for this?

I think #13869 address this quite well, we can close this imho.

If you wanted to point out this is fixed and can be closed then I'm the wrong person to tell as I don't have the right to do so in this repo eheh :)
