rustfmt only formats item scope code, i.e. complete modules. Documentation often includes statement scope code that only makes sense inside a function.

See the discussion from lambda-fairy/maud#231 (comment) onwards.

Even if rustfmt doesn't support this, we might be able to come up with a somewhat working solution, maybe something like lambda-fairy/maud#231 (comment)
