Ability to fetch providers.json list from client side #308

Hello,

Is there any way to fetch oembed.com/providers.json from the client side? For now access is blocked by CORS.

Why not set CORS headers or enable JSONP support?
Also it would be great to return application/json content type if Accept header was set.
