Error: badarg when trying to publish package

I've seen two problems with hexer the first one is when trying to publish a package.

I run:

hexer publish

I expect this to eventually lead to a published package (by answering Y on the CoC part). Once this is done, things communicate for a while and I get:

Error: badarg

Which was unexpected! What can I do to help you debug it, and can you eventually reproduce this at your end, to weed out the possibility it doesn't work due to me not being able to configure the software correctly?
