Scandinavian letters in my username on Windows prevents Ionide from working

Describe the

Ionide won't start because of scandinavian character in my username on windows

Steps to reproduce

1. Have a windows account with a user name including any of the characters "ÅÄÖåäö"
2. Install Ionide in vscode and it wont be able to start

Additional context

Is there any way to fix this? I'm relatively new to the dotnet platform and wanted to try out F#, so sorry if there already is a solution out there I couldn't find.
