Good Morning,

I will be on travel next Monday and unavailable for our weekly meeting all day. Since we didn't have a meeting on MLK day, I would like to ask if it's possible to move our call to either sometime this week or next (other than Monday).

I'm available pretty much whenever this week and next week (except Monday and Wednesday 9am to 12pm).

I'd also like to point you to:

http://marine.rutgers.edu/~kerfoot/beta/ngdac/status/

I took an app that I wrote for the OOI and modified it to display the current status for all of the glider data available on the DAC 2.0 public ERDDAP. I think it's pretty self explanatory but I'll explain a bit.

The table displays the dataset id, wmo id, number of profiles and time coverage for all of the data sets that have made it to the public DAC. The time coverage end is color coded to reflect the "freshness" of the dataset (ie: the time of the last profile added to the data set). There are direct links to the datasets ERDDAP data, graphing and rss.

The nav menu at the top allows you to display datasets by provider and WMO id.

There are few additional things I'd like to add, most of which will allow us to quickly diagnose problems with dataset throughput:

  1. THREDDS availability and link (if it exists.
  2. DAC deployment webpage (from http://54.91.88.156/)

We've implemented a status page at the GliderDAC
http://data.ioos.us/gliders/status/

For the profile plots and extra glider supporting features, I would like to move this to 3.4 or 4.0.

I have an EXCELLENT framework in the works that will integrate with GliderDAC really well and will provide us with a lot of tools for interrogating data on the GliderDAC.

Update on this: I just started integrating the Backbone framework, so I'll be able to leverage some views from OceansMap into catalog, which includes some glider tools.
