Done Criteria

Make it clear as possible for the IPFS Community that Boxo exists and what its purpose is. This means using various broadcast platforms including

  • Blog post
  • Discussion forum (which we get from a blog post)
  • IPFS Newsletter

Why Important

  1. Boxo is a change from the <2023 repo sprawl. We know it has affected PL EngRes team. If this disruptive for others in the ecosystem, we'd like to know in advance to figure out what else we can do (or at least who to be sensitive to in communication)
  2. We believe others have been scared off or hampered from contributing more because of the previous repo state. This is a potential chance to lure them back in.

Notes

This should happen after:

  1. [Milestone] Getting boxo "over the hump" #196
  2. IPFS Thing 2023 presentation on the topic so we can embed them
