Setting calender backgound transparent

Really nice and customizable calender.

I am trying to have a transparent background color for calender. But I always end up with a gray ting to the background.
I am not sure what to be changed.

Let me think about this. I need to take a look at how the actual view is composed to see how we'd do this..

Currently, this is because of how the date borders are implemented. The best workaround would be to set the background color of the dates to match the surrounding background. This would give the appearance of being transparent. The other thing that could be done is the set the date border color to clear as well, which should give you the effect you want.
