Can add a feature to copy the image result to clipboard instead of saving?

Because sometimes only need share a image but don't require save it, and you can go to paste image in chats (like discord, slack, facebook, etc)

It's been over a year since this issue was opened so I understand if you don't have interest in it any more but I'd love to see you attempt to implament this and open a PR <3

This is really needed, first thing that came to my mind, as I don't want to actually save the code but post it somewhere with a quick CTRL+C CTRL+P. I would really appreciate this if someone would like to pair on such task feel free to ping me on a co-authored pr.

Sadly, I was digging up through this to check if this is doable, and found this microsoft/vscode#163240. Probably this feature won't be developed which makes this request undoable.
