@timbl suggests editing could work like forms - save as you type rather than requiring user clicks.
He also suggests we could use web-components to fetch components behind the scenes.
@prochste mentioned concerns about large data loads. On the sending side, this is taken care of by the updateManager - the form changes are sent as patches so we don't need to upload the entire dataset at once. However, on the fetching side, currently if we have a form it pulls in the entire dataset so, yes, this could be a problem for larger projects.
