Hello, maintainers! 👋

By my calculations, it's time for a new release of github-metadata. It's been over 2 months since the last release, v2.12.1.

What else is left to be done before a new release can be made? Please make sure to update History.markdown too if it's not already updated.

Thanks! 💞 ✨

Hello maintainers!

Would it be possible to make a release?
The latest version available with gem install is conflicting with the new version of Jekyll (4.0.0) (at least when not installed with bundle).

Thanks a lot!

@bebatut Glad to know that you're using Jekyll 4.0
You may use the master version by pointing your Gemfile to this repo as follows:

# Gemfile

gem "jekyll-github-metadata", github: "jekyll/github-metadata"

(and then run bundle install to pull in the code).

Let us know if you see any issues by using the master version of this plugin with Jekyll 4.0.

Any news here? Is there any official release planned?

We need for our project to be able to install jekyll-github-metadata via gem install (not only with bundle install).
Do you plan to make an official release soon?

A new release would still be great! :)

Indeed, I'd also like to see a release now that #178 is merged. Thanks! :-)
