After login to server, only header bar is shown but content is empty

As the title says. After login to my server, it shows the top header bar saying "Startseite / Favoriten" and with the clock on the right which is working/updating once a minute, but everything below is just a black rectangle and I cannot select anything.

Please provide:
What web version has been embedded?
What version of the server?

Just in case, 10.8 web is incompatible with 10.9 server, and it works exactly as you described.

I am having the exact same issue. I have web version 10..9.1 while my server is version 10.8.13. I have tried both the normal method and also through docker, please do help

10.8 web is incompatible with 10.9 server

and vice versa. No backward compatibility.

So you need to install app with 10.9 web for 10.9 server and app with 10.8 web for 10.8 server.

I updated my jellyfin server and that fixed it. I was stumped for a few days so thankyou very much
